As a mechanical engineer you will be responsible for the physical part of the project. Starting with a blank sheet of paper all mechanical aspects of the car are designed in-house. From the suspension connecting the wheels to the car to the aerodynamics making the car as efficient as possible.
After designing you are also responsible for making it a reality. Discovering the flaws in your design and solving them with ingeneous solutions.
