STELLA LUX DOCUMENTARY

The premiere of the Stella Lux documentary was a fact on the 17th of March. We viewed this together with our partners, Solar Mile Club members and the team of 2013. Digital Craftsmanship TriMM is our partner who realized this film. They worked from December last year until March to finish it and what a great documentary it is!

For us as a team, this was also the first time that we saw the documentary. It really brought us back to the entire process. Starting from sketching our own idea about the car of the future until the 25th of October when we stood on the stage at the World Solar Challenge Ceremony. What a great feeling to experience our project of one-and-a-half year again.

Afterwards there was a drink with our partners and Solar Mile Club members. We received a lot of great reactions about the movie. Also nice for us to see all our partners again after the last time we saw them in January. So, the evening on the 17th of March can be labeled as successful!

THE NEXT GENERATION

The registration deadline to participate at the selection procedure for the next team is closed. The last week of March and the first weeks of April are interviews held for the potential new Solar Team Eindhoven members for 2017. After the exams in April we will continue with this procedure. Then the new team will be known and announced in May of this year. So, to be continued.

EVENTS

MWC
The first big event we went to with Stella Lux was the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. With our partner Ericsson was Stella Lux exposed at world’s biggest mobile congress.  A lot of big companies where presented at the congress as well. All visitors as well as the employees of Ericsson were impressed by Stella Lux.

NICE
Martijn Lammers and Tom Selten went to Nice in France on Monday, the 7th of March. They were asked to give a presentation about Stella Lux and their view on the mobility of the future. Martijn and Tom flew that same night back to the Netherlands. Therefore, they could therefore still be in class on time on Tuesday.

JAN VAN BRABANT COLLEGE
One of the purposes of our project is to inspire children and new students. That is why we visited Jan van Brabant College with Stella Lux. The high school students performed exam exercises which related to Stella Lux. It was both an instructive as an inspiring afternoon.

METALEKTRO
An event in Rotterdam was organized for big metal companies to share best practices with each other. They asked us to join this event with Stella Lux as an eye catcher and to give the visitors of this event an idea to think different about the current way of working.

So we keep Stella Lux busy to show her where possible. Our task to keep inspire people will continue.
