The iLumen European Solar Challenge took place from Friday the 18th to Sunday the 20th of September on the Circuit
Solar Team Eindhoven was founded in 2012 and has since become the world champion four times in the Cruiser Class of the Bridgestone World Solar Challenge, a race over a distance of 3022 km (Darwin to Adelaide). The BWSC takes place every other year and the most recent one has concluded at the 20th of October, 2019.
In September 2018, the fourth team began designing the most recent solar-powered family car: Stella Era. Stella Era is the world’s first self-driving charging station on wheels.
In 2020, a new team of 20 ambitious students from the Eindhoven University of Technology has started their process of accelerating the energy transition!
